A lonely slow flowing creek in the forest. So much detail, it's amazing to explore it.

The pole star, Polaris, is in this photo (the bright one on the left-middle). All other stars appear to rotate around Polaris because the Earths axis point to it. So as the Earth turns the stars seem to move around the motionless Polaris.

When the Cherokee looked up at the dark night sky, they believed the stars were billions of "spirit campfires." This was inspired by that Native American belief.
